YouthForce NOLA Participates in Louisiana Educator Voice Fellowship
A YFN staff member and two partners were chosen to participate in the prestigious Louisiana Educator Voice Fellowship. Carlin Jacobs, YFN’s Director of School Support, Kristen Green, Dean of Transition at G. W. Carver High School, and Courtney Guidry, Career and Technical Education Coordinator at Sci High, will join 21 other educators from across the state to design a new career readiness course for public schools.
A partnership between the Louisiana Department of Education and America Achieves, a national, nonprofit organization, the purpose of the Fellowship is to link teachers, counselors, principals and district leaders from across Louisiana with state leaders and industry experts to examine the knowledge and skills necessary for success in the 21st-century workplace.
