Sharing Our Collective Success

The YouthForce NOLA team at the February OPSB Board Meeting

YouthForce NOLA President Cate Swinburn presented our collective progress with partners and peers in Louisiana and nationally. At the start of February, Cate joined members of our collaborative initiative, including representatives from Junior Achievement, the Urban League, the New Orleans Career Center, and others, on a panel during Louisiana Department of Education’s Jump Start Convention to celebrate the success that Orleans Parish has had implementing meaningful technical training programs. In mid-February, Cate shared the progress YouthForce NOLA has made with its partners with Orleans Parish School Board (OPSB). Finally, at the start of March, Cate traveled to Austin to represent New Orleans at SXSW and speak on a panel with other leaders in our space.
