Shout Out: Imani Miller

Huge Shout Out to our new Vice President of Programs, Imani Miller! She is leading YouthForce NOLA’s school partnership strategy and overseeing the execution of the internship and soft skills programs. Imani joins our team with over ten years of experience in education. She served as Academy Principal for two years and as an instructional coach for three years at Edna Karr High School. Additionally, Imani has eight years of experience teaching middle-school, high-school, and developmental college mathematics. Imani has a Bachelor of Arts in physics from Xavier University, a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Tulane University, and a Master of Arts from Xavier University.

Shout Out: Paige Boetefuer

Congratulations to Paige Boetefuer on being promoted to Director of Soft Skills Programming. In this new role, Paige will oversee YouthForce NOLA’s internship program and the Soft Skills Teacher Fellowship.

Big shout out to Quinndale Ridgeway! A Summer 2017 YouthForce Internship alum, he recently graduated from ReNEW Accelerated High School on the Deans List and with the Professionalism Award.

On July 1st, Recovery School District schools were placed back under the oversight of the Orleans Parish School Board, marking the beginning of a new era for public schools!
