NOLA Educators Glean Best Practices in Denver

YouthForce NOLA hosted a learning tour at the end of January for New Orleans educators to observe and learn from career pathways programs in Denver Public Schools. This trip gathered 13 educators from YFN partner schools and representatives from Delgado Community College and the business community. Participants visited and observed a high school career and technical center, a community college whose enrollment consists of 40% high school students, and students at two internship sites, including a fabrication lab.
