GNO, Inc. Releases Workforce Analysis of Digital Media Sector

GNO, Inc., a YFN Collaborative Steering Committee member, recently released workforce analysis that finds digital media-related industries account for 16,459 jobs in the Greater New Orleans region.

With digital media/IT being one of YouthForce NOLA’s three targeted industry sectors, this study confirms that we are on the right track to prepare New Orleans youth for the well-paying jobs of the future. Our focus on credentialing addresses the report’s finding that technical skills are in high demand in this industry, and our soft skills training speaks directly to the report’s finding that “non-technical soft-skills are also vital to a successful career in the industry.”
